Newbury Endorsers

“We feel the performance of Newbury’s Selectboard must improve. We believe that we need to elect a new member of that Board who loves Newbury like we do, has the experience to lead as a team player, who understands processes, can problem solve analytically, and who is able to plan versus react. Sandy Warde is this person. We are excited to endorse her for Selectboard.”

“I believe that Sandy Warde will work collaboratively; she understands the need for consistent policies and procedures and will listen to the voices of those with whom she does not agree. I will vote for Sandy Warde as she will set goals and objectives that benefit the Town of Newbury and help us all achieve them.”

Dan Wolf

“No position is more important in Newbury than a Selectboard member, and no one is better qualified than Sandy Warde. Air Force Colonel, Ret. Sandra Warde is ideally qualified. Her 30-year service with the Air Force called for working with others, making administrative decisions, and all the while piloting KC135s. Sandy understands what’s important and knows how to deliver. Sandy also serves on the Newbury Veterans Committee and has a passion for Newbury. Her leadership abilities are one of the Air Force’s core values, and she will bring them to the Selectboard.”

“When people ask me about Sandy Warde, the only type of words that come to mind are only superlative in nature. I’ve been fortunate to have known Sandy for over twenty-five years. She has always been a stellar performer in everything she’s involved with, from potluck get-togethers to intricate international drug operations or emergency response events. She’s genuine in her words and honest in her actions at all times. She always seeks what’s best for the masses but never forgets individuals. She will be an invaluable asset to any organization she supports!”

Don Hamblett, Lt. Col. USAF Ret

"Save Lake Sunapee Watershed (a group of concerned residents who want to find solutions to protect the quality of all streams, ponds, and lakes in Newbury, Sunapee, New London, and Springfield) is endorsing Sandy Warde for the Newbury Selectboard.

In conversations with Sandy, it is clear that she sees the same dysfunction that many of us have witnessed with the current Newbury Selectboard.  Sandy is committed to providing our Town with objective decision-making and bringing a results orientation currently lacking.

In discussing our efforts to encourage the Town to take a more proactive stance towards protecting our valuable watershed, Sandy made it apparent she would approach all initiatives with a clear-headed evaluation, and base her opinion on what is best for the Town and its residents.  She will get to the facts and come to meetings prepared.

Sandy wholeheartedly rejects the divisiveness currently exhibited and is determined to act in the best interest of everyone."
