If you are currently in Newbury, but will not be in town on Election Day (March 11), you can go to the Town Hall and complete the Application for Absentee Ballot there.  If you are no longer in town, follow the instructions below:

• By USPS Mail:

  • Step 1:

    • Either print out or fill out this PDF on your computer:

      • Application for Town/City Election Absentee Ballot-RSA 657:4

      • In Part I, if you are registered to vote in Newbury, check the first bullet.  The second bullet is for people who are not currently registered to vote in Newbury.

  • Step 2:

    • Sign Absentee Ballot Application

  • Step 3:

    • Mail the completed and signed Absentee Ballot Application by USPS to:

      • Town of Newbury

      • Town Clerk/Tax Collector

      • Attn:  Linda Plunkett

      • PO Box 253

      • Newbury, NH 03255

  • Step 4:

    • Receive paper Ballot by USPS

  • Step 5:

    • Mail the completed Ballot back to Linda by USPS:

      • She must receive it by Tuesday, March 11th (Election Day)

• By Email:

  • Step 1:

    • Either print out or fill out this PDF on your computer:

  • Step 5:

    • Mail completed Ballot back to Linda by USPS:

      • She must receive it by Tuesday, March 11th (Election Day)
