How does a registered Newbury, NH voter request an Absentee Ballot?

If you are currently in Newbury, but will not be in town on Election Day (March 11), you can go to the Town Hall and complete the Application for Absentee Ballot there.  If you are no longer in town, follow the instructions below:

  • By USPS Mail:

    • Step 1:

    • Step 2:

      • Sign Absentee Ballot Application

    • Step 3:

      • Mail the completed and signed Absentee Ballot Application by USPS to:

        • Town of Newbury

        • Town Clerk/Tax Collector

        • Attn:  Linda Plunkett

        • PO Box 253

        • Newbury, NH 03255

    • Step 4:

      • Receive paper Ballot by USPS

    • Step 5:

      • Mail the completed Ballot back to Linda by USPS:

        • She must receive it by Tuesday, March 11th (Election Day)

  • By Email:

    • Step 1:

    • Step 2:

      • Sign Absentee Ballot Application

    • Step 3:

      • Copy & paste the below text into an email to Linda Plunkett (Newbury Town Clerk/Tax Collector) at linda@newburynh.org  

      • Attach the completed and signed Absentee Ballot Application

    • Step 4:

      • Receive paper Ballot by USPS

    • Step 5:

      • Mail completed Ballot back to Linda by USPS:

        • She must receive it by Tuesday, March 11th (Election Day)

Hi.  I hope all is well.  I am a registered Newbury voter, and my signed Absentee Ballot Application for the March 2025 Town Election is attached.  Could you mail me an Absentee Ballot at this address?
